its snowing again!!!

can  you believe the weather at 12.30 it started with  a little bit of powdery stuff
its half past four now and we have about 4 inches of snow obviously because of

the weather i had to do some crafting.  Its my partners birthday on Friday
and i wanted to do something a bit different for him.  My lovely friend June
let me some stamps with pheasants  on and this is the result the layout is from
one of the challenge blogs mojo monday i think it doesnt look very straight

but i think that is the angle of the photograph.  The second one is for a customer
and this  design I  found on google images really love the colour scheme which is
crumbcake and black.

Will have to go now and take  the dog out in the snow

working hard

I  know 3 posts in one week you can tell I have not been at work much this week. 

My mum wanted a card making for one of her friends who has just had an operation

so I gave masking a try I think i used the wrong colour, and it would have looked 

better in a paler colour.Never mind  I will be trying again.The second card I have been

working on is one for my partner from my son I saw this on Pinterest and loved it and

as so far this is the third card i have made for my partner, and i still haven't made one for 

me although that will be my next card i feel.

star trekking across the universe

its my sons birthday this weekend, as you can guess from this card  i have made

he is a big star trek fan, I was going to make this one from us however late 

last night my partners son asked me to make a card for rob from him so 

decided to make it from him, i knew it would be really easy to make and

to be truthful the hardest thing on this card was the comm badge on it .

Here is the second card i made today this was plan b for him it is a chalkboard 

card, I have been itching to make one ever since i saw them on various blogs

really enjoyed making it and i dont think it came out too badly only thing i am

not sure about is the bunting on it, but it needed something there is still tomorrow

if any one has an idea to finish it off

cant believe it

I wanted to show you the card i made for my mum to 
give my partner unfortunately this is not going to happen 
because i put it into the post already, its my age!!
Instead i will show you two cards i made over the 

weekend .  This is a card for one of my customers kept it 
fairly simple.  The next one is for one of my friends who 

has just moved.

valentines day

Here is the first valentines card i have made this year,  I was asked if i could make
a Dr Who valentines card not the usual request i know, but i like a challenge.  The
problem is making it special without it seeming out of place on a valentines card
i did my usual and went on google images and came up with this quote from the
Dr plus a cartoon tardis  the idea came from a blog  i read sometimes " Sarah's stamping and crafting studio" http://craftingandstamping.com/
it is a fairly close copy of a valentines card she made but i  liked the idea of using
the lovely flocked acetate so I copied away.

Back in the swing

I have finally found a spot to take photographs with 

the best light downstairs in the lounge as it turns out. 

which is fine but my craft room is upstairs so you spend 

hours making the card. Its taken off and on three days

to finish this one, I've seen the layout on line somewhere

but cant remember where!! its my age lol.

its a boy take 2

when i made my first dresser card, i wasn't sure that i liked it, so i had a think
and started again, this one i do like its a lot simpler but i still prefer it just wish
i hadn't wasted 4 sheets of card trying to make the first one!!!
