two in one day

well dont drop dead with shock 2 posts in one day, its still raining and i've managed to make another
card, the weather isn't doing much for my creativity, and i know i should be doing housework.
But my friend pam who has been my best customer for the last couple of years wanted a card

for her friend, and having a lack of inspiration i ended up looking through my stampin up catalogue so shamelessly copied here is what i came up with.   It took a lot of the hard work out of the process and i did change it slightly. 
I feel i may as well confess that on saturday evening i relived my youth and went to see the Osmonds at a local theatre, i never managed to see them in their heyday and this is the last tour they are doing so it seemed a good idea and despite the fact that donny wasn't on with them, they were fantastic had a sore throat when i came out from all the singing, isn't it funny how all the words come back to you after about 40 years

easter washout

what an awful bank holiday weekend we have had, never stopped raining i have been moving my

craft room so i havn't got a great deal of crafting done so i thought i would show you the mothers day card i made for my mum i got the idea from  cards and a cuppa who did it as as a boxed frame just thought the idea was brilliant for a card, luckily mum liked the card this style of card is great if you're
making a large card for a special occassion i've also made something similair for an 21st birthday.

Scrapbooking

this will come as a shock another post so soon, obviously had a rush of blood to the head.
Last night went to the scrapbooking class i go to every month, run by my good friend
Monica.  Its  her birthday today and it goes without saying i made her a card, the problem
is monica is the person who got me started with crafting 4 years ago and she has been crafting for more years than i care to think about so obviously no pressure to make her a card then!!!

Here is what i came up with, the basic idea i saw on a blog but im not sure where, anyway hopefully monica liked it and is having a special day

what a bad blogger

what a bad blogger i am, time just seems to get away with me. Life seems to be all work, and house work
obviously i manage to fit in the odd bit of crafting.  What a glorious weekend we are having, long one
for me i'm not back at work till wednesday been busy this afternoon making easter chicks one of my friends wants some easter cards for her grandchildren.

This week it was one of my friends birthday and her husband wanted a card for her, i saw a card on dawn griffiths blog which i shamlessly cased see what you think.  well out of my comfort zone, no layers and lots of frills but i really enjoyed making this

Freshly made sketch challenge

Thought i'd have a go at this weeks challenge at Freshly Made
Sketches, i find it a lot easier to make a card when i have
an idea to work from.  i had a card to make for a young friend
of mine, can't quite believe he's three next week, i remember
when his mum was having him, only seems like yesterday!!
Finally i have realised i do need to use some of the card stock
and paper i buy rather than just piling it up so i've started

trying to use it, this is all retired stampin up stock.  let me
know what you think, as you can see i do like my cards to be slightly  off centre, bit like me really

New year, new me

I can't believe how long it is since i posted, i am a really bad blogger, only thing i can say is i had
a change of job, which changed my shift patterns and really threw me for  a loop.

Anyway hope a good christmas was had by all, one of my good friends is moving house this
week so i have made her a new home card,  One of my favorite presents this year was my
stamping ups a to z die cutter so i had to use this. Plus not got a lot of inspiration for new

home cards this is what i finally came up with, everything apart from the mini house is stamping up
don't think i will ever get bored with stamping up.  This card is going  into Freshly Made Sketches
challenge i did like the layout which has stayed in the back of my mind all over christmas

long time no hear

Who is this stranger posting you ask yourself, its me had a hectic summer blogging was giving the go by! .  However its now september giving myself a stern talking to and now
going to start blogging again.

Have made a card for freshly made challenge, i found it knocked at least 30 minutes off

making a card if i started with a sketch.  see what you think.  i will only make one comment
when i saw how skewiff the shoes sentiment was it did get straightened, the card was made
for someone who feels the same way i do about shoes (one of lifes little essentials!!)
