what a bad blogger

what a bad blogger i am, time just seems to get away with me. Life seems to be all work, and house work
obviously i manage to fit in the odd bit of crafting.  What a glorious weekend we are having, long one
for me i'm not back at work till wednesday been busy this afternoon making easter chicks one of my friends wants some easter cards for her grandchildren.

This week it was one of my friends birthday and her husband wanted a card for her, i saw a card on dawn griffiths blog which i shamlessly cased see what you think.  well out of my comfort zone, no layers and lots of frills but i really enjoyed making this

Freshly made sketch challenge

Thought i'd have a go at this weeks challenge at Freshly Made
Sketches, i find it a lot easier to make a card when i have
an idea to work from.  i had a card to make for a young friend
of mine, can't quite believe he's three next week, i remember
when his mum was having him, only seems like yesterday!!
Finally i have realised i do need to use some of the card stock
and paper i buy rather than just piling it up so i've started

trying to use it, this is all retired stampin up stock.  let me
know what you think, as you can see i do like my cards to be slightly  off centre, bit like me really

New year, new me

I can't believe how long it is since i posted, i am a really bad blogger, only thing i can say is i had
a change of job, which changed my shift patterns and really threw me for  a loop.

Anyway hope a good christmas was had by all, one of my good friends is moving house this
week so i have made her a new home card,  One of my favorite presents this year was my
stamping ups a to z die cutter so i had to use this. Plus not got a lot of inspiration for new

home cards this is what i finally came up with, everything apart from the mini house is stamping up
don't think i will ever get bored with stamping up.  This card is going  into Freshly Made Sketches
challenge i did like the layout which has stayed in the back of my mind all over christmas

long time no hear

Who is this stranger posting you ask yourself, its me had a hectic summer blogging was giving the go by! .  However its now september giving myself a stern talking to and now
going to start blogging again.

Have made a card for freshly made challenge, i found it knocked at least 30 minutes off

making a card if i started with a sketch.  see what you think.  i will only make one comment
when i saw how skewiff the shoes sentiment was it did get straightened, the card was made
for someone who feels the same way i do about shoes (one of lifes little essentials!!)

back to cards

After the excitement of take that, had to come back down to earth, back to work today so i've spent
some time this morning making a card.  Pam wanted a card for her daughter in law who loves dogs
don't we all!  luckily i had some Hunky Dory toppers which i put with my stamping up paper to make this card .  obviously need to practise with the camera to get pictures at the right angle

friday night in manchester

No craft today i will post tomorrow for that, i thought i would let you know how i spent friday night

I went to the City of Manchester stadium to see Take That, we went to see them two years ago and i didn't think they could improve the show.  How wrong can one person be, spectacular is the only word for it plus the wonderful Mr Williams back with them.   the first picture is of the 60 ft robot that is part of the show also picture of mr barlow.  Can't recommend the show enough forgot all the worries i've had the last couple of weeks and just sang along and danced all night.  My only complaint would be it was not long enough, anyway back tomorrow with more crafting

 I have now had this card on my desk for a week, one of my friends  is expecting a new grandaughter in June and wants a new baby card.  My lovely friend Monica loaned me a stamp set so i could have a
play,  what a lovely time i have had with this, made another baby card and also a new home card.  Of

course the original card still needs finishing,  but the rest will be done when baby arrives!
